Brooke Moorhead Design specializes in timeless, sophisticated interiors that speak to the modern era. She guides clients to be able to realize their aesthetic vision, and she creates spaces harmonizing in beauty and function. 


Brooke sees the best interior design as a harmony between beauty and creative practicality. She believes life is enhanced when living and working in well-planned spaces with pleasing aesthetics. Brooke looks carefully at each client's requirements and preferences, and she works to channel her client's aesthetic disposition and taste into an interior that will improve life. Her practice focuses on all aspects of a space, ranging from furniture, fabrics & accessories to construction, including architectural design, kitchen and bath design, fixture & finishes specifications, cabinetry design, and space planning.   


Recent past project highlights include gut renovations, aesthetic renovations, and interior design of co-ops on Park Avenue, Fifth Avenue, and other projects on the Upper East Side, a triplex in the West Village, several projects in Tribeca, and homes in Greenwich, CT, Sag Harbor, and Dallas. M


ABOUT BROOKE MOORHEAD

With a degree from the New York School of Interior Design, Brooke has worked for prominent firms in both New York City and Santa Barbara, California. Most recently, Brooke worked as an Associate Designer and Project Manager for Lucinda Lester Design, where for six years she managed large-scale ground-up construction projects focusing on restoration of French and Spanish residences. During her time at LLD, she designed tile inspired by 17th century designs, designed and specified light and plumbing fixtures, selected floor, wall, and millwork finishes, designed custom cabinetry, managed installation and contractor questions and selected all furnishings and fabrics. Prior to that, Brooke worked at Gomez Associates in New York City.

 

Born into a design family, Brooke has been and continues to be influenced by the creativity and expertise of her mother and grandmother, both prominent interior designers and co-owners of The French Depot antique shop in Montecito, California.

 

Brooke holds a B.A. from Brown University.
